I tend to play the devil's advocate, and tend to have a very "don't jump to conclusions" outlook on life (which often makes people think I'm agreeing with someone who's said something bad, just because I say, "well, let's hear their side of the story.".) A lot of bad things happen in this world because of misunderstandings, so I don't think calming down and making sure everyone's understanding each other is a bad thing. :-)
